The mast is extended only about 6m right now to see how it performs. As I mentioned so far it has done great. The total weight supported by the mast is around 15kg so there is plenty of margin there. Just as a point of interest the mast and antenna system has already been exposed to a wind of around 48km/h and did just fine.

Specification

• Available Extended height:2.5m to 20m can be customized. Head load capacity: 5kg to 120kg. Lifting is by air compressor(air pump) 

• The material is high strength aluminum alloy T6 6063. The Tube surface treatment is Hard anodizing which is Which against corrosion, rust and acid rain. It can last longer time even the bad environment. 

• The mast can either be locking, which each section locks into place once it reaches its maximum extension - designed for safety and long term use( do not lift down the mast), or non-locking where each section sits on cushion of air. 

 

Working principle:
The system uses pneumatic theory.Its good self-locking performance achieving reliable ,self-locking in any position improves the safety of reliability.  Pneumatic telescopic mast is a type of elevation solution using compressed air to raise the central column to its extended height.
